Design story behind the product
SKYHIGH is created through memory canvas activity. A memory canvas represents experiences and helps children to bridge the gap between their new habitat and their homes, encouraging them to embrace changing situations. This is a piece from collection Solidarity that focuses on displaced refugee children living in Istanbul. reflect’s creative art therapy workshops encouraged children to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a unique and subjective way through art. Their expressions are re-interpreted and turned into the design of reflect garments.
